This is a very warm sweater...if the wind isn't blowing. Like all crocheted items, it is very holy.
That same old lady keeps showing up in my pictures
...and like many of the pictures taken of me this old lady has her eyes closed also.
The sunset was so beautiful, like many sunsets and sunrises here in my desert when the storm moves thru. I wanted BB to get a picture of the sun but it couldn't happen. Too much sun coming into the lens. The house behind me is my daughters.
We switched places and there are the clouds. Hope for more rain but we are told it may happen in a couple of more days. This storm is on it's way East.

Your sweater is just beautiful, I've been looking for this pattern for years, can you share it? I'm a longtime lurker, I don't remember where I first came across your blog. My name is Alice and I live in Flagstaff, I have family living all over AZ. Have passed your area many times traveling to So. AZ to visit family. Sincerely, alice P.S. Would you like some snow, we have plenty to share.
To Anon #1: Thank you
To Anon #2 aka the lurker:
The pattern is in a very old Good Housekeeping 'Needlecraft' magazine. Fall/winter 1980! That is only old to kids! I don't have the capabilities to copy and send it to you via computer. If I copied it and mailed it via snailmail it would have my own personal marking all over it. Can you handle that? I would be happy to do that for you.
No, thank you so much for you offer of snow. I hate the cold. I lived in several places where there was an abundance of snow (married to an IBM exec.) and thank the Good Lord, He didn't choose to take my husband HOME until I would be left in MY desert.
Beautiful, Connie.
What a lovely creation. Busy Hands! I just admired my 1/4 of a knitted hat. This year it just might get done...We'll talk about that soon
Fondly Yours.
What a beautiful sweater! I found you from Clif Fb conversations! :)
You have a great blog going here and I look forward to coming back for a visit!
Thank you so much for your offer of sharing the beautiful sweater pattern. If you would email me: aliceharvel@yahoo.com I'll give you my mailing address so that you can send me the pattern. alice om Flagstaff
Hi Connie,
I just visited a blog I think you would enjoy. It's about knitting.
http://stringsofpurls.blogspot.com/
I just visited it for the first time because she left a comment on one of my blogs which led me to hers.
More rain today? It's still cloudy.
Have a good week.
Charlotte
Thank you all for you nice words.
Anon #2, I just got back to my blog. A while has passed. I will get in touch via e-mail and send you the pattern as soon as I get away. I don't leave home often...on purpose, too much yarn calling my name.
Charlotte: I was in Phx today, Sunday, taking my tax paper to my lady up there. I still use her as does my son. Up there in time for church. Saw so many people I love and missed so many who have gone on to meet the Lord. It is a nostalgic morning. Wish you and Clif had been there.
Loren: I don't blog often since I found FB. I have so many things to do at home that interest me more than blogging. I will try to put a thing or two on a little more often. Thanks for looking at my blog.
I really like that sweater/jacket, but it's time to post something else. LOL
Just came over here to ask you if you knew Jane Brown has a blog? I just found it by a link on Elizabeth's blog. Here's the url. http://janiebrown.blogspot.com/
