I have never been able to keep a Christmas Cactus from dying for a whole year. I think I love them to death. A little drink here, a little drink there. DEATH! Three years ago, after Christmas, I was in Lowe's and bought a CC with spent blooms. The second Christmas (Did you recognize that? SECOND CHRISTMAS!) My newly aquired cat had chewed tiny kitty teeth holes in each of the new leaves. No blooms that Christmas. I had to move the CC up high so as to both protect the cat and the CC. So, up it went to the top of one of my kitchen cabinates. I did't think about taking a picture of it while it was in full bloom, but here is a SILLY SATURDAY picture to prove it did in fact bloom for me in our third year. YEAH!

A Miracle!
That's an interesting story. I thought it was funny the way your plants drink to death. Some plants like to be ignored. Some will curl up and die if you don't give them constant attention. Overwatering is probably the cause of most plant demises. I don't think I spelled that right. Maybe I should have said plant deaths.
That is the kind of thing that would be good for Show & Tell.
Have a great Sunday tomorrow.
