What is this?

Does anyone know what this tool is used for? It came to me via a goodie bag from a thrift store. I love finding those bags. They usually have all kinds of treasures in them that I can use in my sewing room but this is one I can't figure out. Can anyone tell me what it is and what it is used for?

Hi Connie,
Try this so you don't have to comment as "anonymous".
Blogger Username is your e-mail address. Password is the password for your blog. On some blogs require word verification. (Yours does.) So you need to do that, of course.
I hope this works for you.

I didn't start with a word verification but received a couple of "funny" comments that I did't trust and decided that I would try the w.v. route and it seems to work. No more "funny" commnets.

I have tried what thought was the password for my blog but it didn't work. I will keep trying. Perhaps even change the password.

Nope, didn't work. I will have a go at something different. Meanwhile.......a-nony-moose I am, once again......Connie@

Carl (baby brother alias BB) went into a long explaination of the doo-hicky last night. It made no sense at all. He really didn't know either. No one else has come forth with the ID for the doo-hicky.

Well, my best guess would be a sort of embroidery hoop. For very fine stitchery. It looks like you could release the inner hoop, lay your fabric over it, and fit it into the outer hoop. However, the long handle on it doesn't seem to make much sense, if that's in fact what it is.

I figured you knew my chocolate bunny wasn't really chocolate. One person asked if it was plastic. Anyway, now I want to go out and buy a real chocolate bunny and bite its ears off. I think I will.
Cheers.
