THREAD PERSON

When I first moved into my new house in my new location in 2003 I invited many people from my former church in Phoenix and my new church in Marana plus neighbors, friends and loved one. BIG PARTY, lots of work and all worth it. While giving one new friend "the tour" I took her into my sewing room, opened all the closet and cupboards and she exclaimed with excitement, "OH, you are a thread person". I have many interests and one of the most enduring is working with thread, yarn and fabric. I have many project going at the same time. I NEVER use the word boring! I believe if you allow yourself to become bored, it is your own fault. There are too many things of interest in this priviledged world we live in to ever allow that. If I get TIRED of what I am doing, I just move on to something else for a while. In the next few days I will show you pictures of some of the things I am working on. That is, when I am not playing in the dirt in my vegetable garden.
The picture I have added here is of my Little China Doll. Her mama and daddy went to China to bring her home when she was 8 months old. While I was knitting one day she ask me to knit her a sweater. She said blue was her favorite color and she wanted one "with glitter".

How precious. I'm with you. I think if a person is bored it's their own fault. With so many interesting things in the world how could anyone ever get bored.
I read your e-mail over on AOL. Will answer it later today. This morning I'm going in to get my fourth weekly shot in the knee. Next Tuesday will be number 5, the last one. And will I be happy!!!!
Still don't know for sure if it will solve the problem, but I'm hoping and praying.
Have a great day!

Look at that little double chin of Lily's...
she's smiling too hard, ha ha.
She's looking good though in her duds. Just this last time I was home, she was modeling your work.
