Early morning

It is way too early in the morning to think of anything interesting to tell you, so I will simply input a couple of pictures. My mother taught my 2 brothers and me to dislike cats. My youngest brother and I have gotten over that and I now have a cat that I enjoy very much. She requires very little of me just as I require little of her. She is half Siamese and I am really not an animal lover. She came to my house with the idea that she was going to be just passing through and on to my daughter's house but it didn't work out that way. I believe I would miss her now if she were not here.

She is sleeping on my antique buffet in the late afternoon sun.

Beautiful picture, Connie.
My Dad always hated cats. My mother and I brought one home that a lady at church gave us when we lived in Colorado (1954). My Dad fell in love with that cat. Her name was Jumper. Jumper lived to be about 20 years old. He was so addicted to cats that he started feeding every stray cat that came around and he became a real fanatic. Hopefully that won't happen to you. Ha.

You know, we had a cat when we lived near you in Los Gatos. I was about 5 years old. It was a Siamese cat also. Although my dad still doesn't like cats, he put up with that one!
