Grateful to be an O.L.

I saw a few minutes of an interview yesterday featuring Jamie Lee Curtis who will be turning 50 y/o soon. She quoted someone else (I don't know who) who said:
"OLD AGE IS NATURE'S WAY OF TELLING YOU THAT YOU DON'T HAVE ANY TIME TO WASTE!"
I feel that way these days and will carry that quote around with me in my Bible so that I can share it at the appropriate times.

It's like June Carter Cash sang. "Time's Awastin'"
We use this phrase a lot since we saw the movie about Johnny Cash.

Granny taught me that old age means you can swear and it's funny. :)
(Now she taught me other things as well... good things too. But I'd rather share that little piece of gold.)
I also probably inherited a love for people getting hurt (not too badly hurt) from her too.
